The New York Film Festival (NYFF) is held each year in autumn in the city of New York, United States. It is hosted by the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
It was founded in 1963 by Richard Roud and Amos Vogel, with the support of Lincoln Center president William Schuman. It is non-competitive and hosts from 20 to 30 feature films.
The 57th edition for 2019 was held from September 27th to October 13th. The 2020 edition, the 58th, is scheduled to run from September 25th to October 11th–
The current artistic director is Eugene Hernandez.
