It tells the story of a middle aged woman with small children whose life is shaken up when two free-spirited twenty-somethings move in across the street.
A touching short film in every sense: it has the initial rhythm of the comedy, with a couple grappling with two young children and one just born.
What seem to be the couple’s first problems, faced with a carefree life that they can no longer have, actually becomes something deeper.
Envy gives way first to curiosity, then to fear and, finally, empathy, with a reversal of the final face that remains in the heart of every spectator.
After winning several important awards, it also won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film by the Academy.
