A lone boy wanders the desolate wastes that once were his homeland. A catastrophic event scorched the surface of Earth and took everything from him, everything except his dignity. He wants to find a place for a proper burial of his younger brother he carries on his back.
The film narrates the “after-bomb” without exploding into the sensationalism of special effects. It has a inner spectacularity that, thanks to a great directorial maturity, a great photography and an effective setting, creates emotional and drammatical tension, remarkable and immersive.
