Eva and Manon practice the art of throat singing in the small village of Kangirsuk, in their native Arctic land. Interspliced with footage of the four seasons of Kangirsuk by Johnny Nassak.
A short documentary which depicts the directors themselves throat singing over beautiful landscape scenes, changing according to the seasons. The two have only singed in their own community, apart from a live performance in 2019 at Sundance when the short film premiered. The film is really enthralling and it captures the spirit of the Artic in under five minutes, really impressive also considering that the directors/actors are very young. The scenery is breathtaking and the “music” made with the throat singing is very interesting.
