“Last weekend my single friend Tom challenged himself to find his next date – OFFLINE.”
A very interesting short film, proposed as a documentary: this way, OFFLINE DATING is more engaging and relatable, following the misadventures of Tom around town, trying to connect with single girls and finally get a date from one of them. But is it true or is it a mockumentary, manifactured at will? However, this is not what’s important about this film. It is interesting, because it speaks about the ways to communicate with eachother, enlighting how everything is shifting to the “online way”. Comedic and with a good rhythm, OFFLINE DATING is thought-provoking and kind of looks like a social experiment.
