Farrah, new to LA, goes on the mobile styling app Get Glam, to find new clients. When she arrives at an appointment, she finds a house of girls pre-gaming for a party and maybe a new crew of friends.
A great work, well directed and very well acted. All the characters are fun, interesting, and manage to be all-round even if part of a short film with little time to develop them all for long. BALDWIN BEAUTY is engaging and entertaining, celebrating black communities in Los Angeles with a fine cinematography, perfect comedy times and a good protagonist who manages to set aside her shyness in order to reveal her talent in work. She also succeeds in making new friends, maybe, leaving the audience with a smile on their face when the short film ends. Nice choice of music and of actors.
