Deep into the small hours of the night, drenched in black coffee and paperwork, a lonely man’s sanity starts to slip away.
Despite its five minutes of length, TOO LATE feels like it is much longer. Watching this interesting piece of animation can convey (and does it really good) the sensation of anxiety, claustrophobia, horror. It is scary in some shots and is really amazing in giving you that dark and hopeless sensation, that feeling of an endless depressing cycle. However, the ending seems to be opened to hope and the final touch, with the little bird sound in the background, can prelude to a better life. Not the best CGI animation maybe, but for sure a simple yet good plot and the capability of conveying true emotions.
