A teacher is set to do his daily routine classroom at the school he works, during one of the most difficult days to teach.

W just hits you in the stomach, and it hits hard. You do not get what is going on at the beginning, you feel like the protagonist is really teaching to a class for a moment; then you slowly shift into thinking he has gone crazy, until you realize the hard truth. This short film manages to be tender and bitter, deep and strong, short and full of meaning in just a few minutes. It envoys its message perfectly, with no flaws, just a great narrative and visual power and an amazing actorial performance. It is simple and effective, a film that you can’t easily forget.

W won the Gironzalon award at Amarcort Film Festival 2020: this category is dedicated to experimental short films. And it doesn’t come as a surprise that it gained many prizes, such as the award for the Best VFX and Technical Excellence at 42nd Drama Film Festival in Greece, Best Picture and Best Production Design at Okotoks Film Festival in Canada, 2nd Horizonte Special Award at Kurzfilmtage Thalmässing in Germany, along with many nominations in festivals around the whole world.
