During a romantic escapade, Alan and Beverly cause a fatal accident, a crime that won’t go unpunished.
A quite disturbing yet funny short film, in which everything is just dark comedy and black humor that may not be suitable to every kind of audience. A couple is taking a holiday in the wilderness and everything they do is so romantic and sappy: even the clouds in the sky are heart-shaped! But then everything gets out of control and the mood completely changes after, by accident, the two kill a groundhog. Soon after the death of their companion, the other groundhogs start hunting the humans to have their revenge. Everything is disturbingly funny, as WILD LOVE puts together horror scenes with cute animals doing adventurous stuff, stuff that would fit in a children animation film if everything wasn’t done to kill, if you get what we mean. Each scene is gorier than the previous one as WILD LOVE goes from cute to terrifying, until the animals get what they want: blood and retribution.
WILD LOVE won several prizes, such as Audience Award and Mèliés d’Argent at Molins Film Festival and Viewers Choice Award at The BoneBat “Comedy of Horrors” Film Fest. It was also in nomination at Terror in the Bay Film Festival and others.
