In the middle of a desert, soldiers are protecting a marvelous pearl, but a huge creature is going to steal it.

CHÂTEAU DE SABLE is a small masterpiece of animation: incredibly animated and detailed, with amazing renders and very realistic characters, especially the crab which is absolutely mindblowing. A sandcastle becomes the setting of a great kingdom, with a treasure to protect (a pearl), guarded by soldiers made of sand. And then, a great threat comes, ready to destroy everything, while the soldiers make their last stand. The soundtrack is perfect and makes the short film even more epic than it appears in general. The ending is very fascinating, as we understand that the sandcastle was nothing more than a game built on the beach, and the majestic pearl was, in fact, a marble ball made of glass. A very amazing work.

CHÂTEAU DE SABLE had twelve nominations and won three awards.
